June or 2022 was very hot.  Jen Aitken was working hard and long days creating this amazing installation in the Tom Thomson shack. She would visualize, measure, saw, climb the ladder, move the ladder, cut again, screw, and on and on. Sometimes she would eat a small lunch and then get back to work. Jen is one of my favourite artists and is so dedicated to her work. The work has since been dismantled as it was never meant to be permanent, which makes it all the more impressive.
